All software available for downloading from this Web Site will be accompanied by a Licensed Software Agreement. Users downloading the software must agree that any such software is governed by the licensing terms in the associated Licensed Software Agreement. If, at any time, a user is unable or unwilling to abide by the terms of the Licensed Software Agreement, then the user must remove any and all such software from all of their computer systems immediately.

High Criteria Inc. provides various levels of support options for our customer base. Support may be covered in your product purchase or through the purchase of after-sale support offerings. Please see your license agreement for details regarding your level of support.

Users who have a support agreement should direct non-urgent matters to us by email at [email protected]. Please be sure to include a detailed description of the problem that you have encountered. We will make our best efforts to reply to such emails within the next business day. Be sure to specify the product you are asking about in the subject line of your email and please include any error messages and diagnostic details that may be available.

Questions about lost license keys may be directed to our support email address. Regardless of circumstances, license key information will not be provided to anyone over the phone.

Support for Liberty Recorder under Windows
​

High Criteria is a software development company specializing in courtroom recording solutions. The company has released the latest version of its recording software and commits to providing updates and support for a minimum of five years from the release date. During the first year after purchase, all updates and support are included at no additional cost. Customers also have the option to purchase extended support for additional years. After the extended support period ends, continued support for this version is not guaranteed. High Criteria will also release updates to its recording software as needed, independent of operating system updates.

Privacy Statement

High Criteria only collects personal contact information so we may return your contact or, if you purchase a High Criteria product, so we may send your purchase receipt, product license and registration information, or associated hardware and provide future product update information.

High Criteria will keep your contact information confidential and will not sell, rent, or otherwise divulge or share this information with any other third-party organization.

High Criteria uses third party credit card processing companies to process credit card orders and High Criteria never sees the credit card details of its customers and therefore does not have access to or maintain any database of any such information. Please see the privacy statements of these credit card processing companies for further details on their policies. 

​Refund & Return Statement
​

Some High Criteria software products are available for a no-cost evaluation, prior to purchase. This evaluation period is provided so users may determine whether our solutions address their requirements. Users are urged to download and evaluate the software, prior to purchase. During this evaluation period, users should determine the software's fitness for their particular purpose. High Criteria offers no warranty that its software is fit for a particular purpose. This determination is at the sole discretion of the purchaser. All software sales are final. High Criteria does not provide refunds on purchases of its software.

Users should consult the manufacturer's warranties associated with sales of various hardware devices. Defective devices may be exchanged, based on these warranties. Most non-defective hardware devices may be returned to High Criteria within 10 business days and the monies will be refunded, minus a 15% re-stocking fee. Non-defective devices that are non-returnable include the VEC Infinity Foot Pedal, Dialogic Voice Card, CallURL and VoiceLink Voice Cards and the Philips Speech Mike.

Regardless of the circumstances, all returns must be pre-authorized. You must contact High Criteria, prior to returning a shipment. An RMA number will be issued, and this RMA number must appear on your outside shipping label. All returns must be shipped in their original packaging and must contain all of the components, documents, registration and warranty cards and all promotional material that was originally shipped with the device.

Manufacturer's Warranties

  • VEC Infinity Foot Pedal VEC provides a limited 90-day warranty on their foot pedals. The warranty covers parts and labor for the replacement of defective parts or manufacturing defects. It does not cover defects caused by accidental damage or abuse. The warranty does not cover shipping costs.
  • SP-PC Headset The headsets have a limited 30-day warranty. The warranty covers parts and labor for the replacement of defective parts or manufacturing defects. It does not cover defects caused by accidental damage or abuse. The warranty does not cover shipping costs.
  • Dialogic Voice Cards Dialogic provides a limited 3-year warranty on their voice cards. The warranty covers parts and labor for the replacement of defective parts or manufacturing defects. It does not cover defects caused by accidental damage or abuse. The warranty does not cover shipping costs.
  • Philips Speech Mike Pro Philips provides a limited 1-year warranty on their Speech Mike Pro devices. The warranty covers parts and labor for the replacement of defective parts or manufacturing defects. It does not cover defects caused by accidental damage or abuse. The warranty does not cover shipping costs.
  • High Criteria CRD-110 Telephone Recording Adaptor High Criteria provides a limited 3-month warranty on the CRD-110 Telephone Recording Adaptor. The warranty covers parts and labor for the replacement of defective parts or manufacturing defects. It does not cover defects caused by accidental damage or abuse. The warranty does not cover shipping costs.

Product Delivery Statement
​

Unless otherwise noted, High Criteria does not send or make available, copies of its software on CD-ROM. Instead, software is available for download from our web site. When a customer purchases a software license from High Criteria, they will receive an email with a license code. When this license code is copied into the downloaded software, the result is a fully licensed copy of the software. Customers should keep a copy of their license code information. They may also make copies of the downloaded program onto CD-ROM, if they wish.

High Criteria makes its best effort to deliver the license code email within fifteen minutes of a purchase. Due to ever present anomalies in Internet communications, High Criteria cannot guarantee delivery of the license code information within any specific time period. If a user does not receive such an email in this time frame, they should contact High Criteria support and request assistance. Unless otherwise noted, shipment of associated equipment and various hardware devices will usually be processed and arrive at the customer's ship-to address in North America, within 5 business days or less, of purchase. If an order cannot be processed in this time period, then the customer will be contacted and given the option of a full refund on their hardware purchase. Please contact High Criteria for information about shipments destined outside North America.
